The Northern Ireland Clinical Research Network Guidance Document
The Northern Ireland Clinical Research Network (NICRN) is operationalised via a hub and spoke design with the hub being a central co-ordinating centre supporting all Clinical Speciality Groups(CSG’s). Each CSG has a similar management structure where either 1 or 2 CSG clinical Leads provide leadership to the groups decision making platform, the Clinical Management Group (CMG’s).
Strategic direction and oversight is provided by a high level NICRN steering committee made up of key Research and Development stakeholders from across Northern Ireland, including Industry partners, Academia, Patient and Public representation and of course Health and Social Care.
